In recent years many Myanmar people have been led to Christ through gospel radio, cassette tapes and gospel message movies, including the Jesus film. The advantage of gospel radio is that it can be personal and private, thus avoiding public provocation and embarrassment. There are reports that Buddhist monks are listening to the radio in their monasteries and being converted.
For any gospel ministry to be effective in sharing Christ, be it radio, cassette or any other media, the love of God must be clearly felt, not just heard. Currently, there are distribution campaigns taking place, whereby gospel media packets, containing a wide variety of media, are being distributed throughout the country.
