TODAY THIS SCRIPTURE IS FULFILLED
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the
good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed,
to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.
(Luke 4:18,19)
Jesus fulfilled Isaiah’s prophecy in his own ministry, and then
commissioned his disciples to continue the work he has started.
There is a physical and a spiritual element to the above prophecy,
addressing immediate needs and eternal needs in mankind.
Prayer Points
- Pray that this prophecy will be fulfilled for the people of
Myanmar.
- Pray for physical and emotional healing for a nation which has
suffered much in its history.
- Pray for salvation to eternal life for many more people in the
country.
